Honor and Action Scholarship

  • Dear Student,

The Pennsylvania College of Technology Colony of Sigma Nu Fraternity wants to reward hardworking and honorable men at our school, with an Honor and Action Scholarship.

The Sigma Nu Honor and Action Scholarship is intended to alleviate the increased tuition and housing expenses in recent years by awarding $100 to an individual who demonstrates both motivation and leadership while pursuing their academic path. The recipient of the scholarship will be chosen based on the evaluation of academic, community, extra-curricular activities, and in relation to Sigma Nu’s mission statement:

“To develop ethical leaders inspired by the principles of Love, Honor and Truth. To foster the personal growth of each man’s mind, heart, and character. To perpetuate lifelong friendships and commitment to the Fraternity.”

The most outstanding applicants will be selected for an interview with the Sigma Nu Scholarship committee in the middle of November. To be eligible for the Honor and Action Scholarship, Applicants must attend two interviews. Note, however, that applicants are not required to become a candidate of Sigma Nu Fraternity in order to be eligible, nor will becoming a candidate increase your chances of becoming the winner.
